Dan Energy Research and Development PLC, an innovative and research based company is looking to recruit competent professional for the following position;

POSITION 1: MANAGER

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To lead and manage the Corporate Services to achieve its intended outcomes as well as deliver efficient and effective services in the areas of; finance, human resources management and development, administration, property and facilities management.
  • Management and oversight of finance functions, Human Resources Functions, Procurement and Supplies Functions, Contracts, etc
  • Direct and coordinate the overall administration and financial flow of the company in accordance with the company policy and procedures.
  • Organize and attend various internal and external meetings to support the achievement of company objectives.
  • Provide administrative, financial and operational support for ongoing businesses.
  • Ensure that company policy and procedures are adhered on day to day functions of administration, finance and also ensure that team members also adhere to them.
  • Coordinating office processes and procedures to ensure organizational and operational effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Advise the CEO on administrative matters such as staff management, financial and facilities Management.
  • Review and Preparation of Contract agreements, handle the exchange of correspondences with stakeholders, etc.
  • Review the reports submitted from various service departments and provide appropriate direction on outstanding issues
  • Handles other assignments as assigned by the CEO.

Required qualifications and eqxperiences

  

 MA/BA degree in Business Management or related field and 10/12 years related work  experiences of which 3 years as a deputy CEO or at senior managerial position in technological company.

POSITION 2: RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan and implement all activities related to research and development of the company
  • Lead and manage the Corporate research and and development endavours of the company
  • Ensure the dentification and conducting of applied researches that would bring solutions to the company’s  business botlnecks
  • Help extract new business research ideas from internal and external environments and develop them through research and development efforts
  • .Organize and attend various internal and external meetings to support the achievement of company objectives.
  • Ensure all research and development efforts are properly conducted and reported as per the planned activities
  • Ensure that company policy and procedures are adhered on day to day functions of the research and development unit.
  • Advise the CEO on strategic research and development of the company
  • Handles other assignments as assigned by the CEO.

Required Qualifications and Experiences

 Msc/MA/MBA in any engineering  plus MBA or related fields or economics or Development studies or mananagement

At least 8 years of working experience preferably in Research and Development He/She should have served as line manager for at least 3 years.

 

Required skills and competencies

 

  • Excellent knowledge of leading research and development of private companies
  • Sufficient Skill on business development
  • Knowledge in project consulting,
  • Skill in microsoft (word, excel), and other relevant applications
  • Proven analytical knowledge in any research and development
  • A team player to coach and mentor collogues to perform and deliver professionally in time.

POSITION 3: PROJECT MANAGER

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for project identification, preparation of standard relevant project documents that would meet all requirements of stakeholders,
  • Lead project officers’ activities
  • Organize and attend various internal and external meetings to support the achievement of company objectives in relation to project endavours.
  • Ensure that company policy and procedures are adhered on day to day functions of the project office and also ensure that team members also adhere to them.
  • Coordinating office processes and procedures to ensure organizational and operational effectiveness and efficiency at project level.
  • Advise the Project Director (PD) on any matters related to identification. Planning. Implementation and closing of project (project cycle).
  • Help design any required strategic project identification, planning, implementation and closing
  • Handles other assignments as assigned by the PD and/or CEO.

Required Qualifications and experiencers

 

 Msc/MA/MBA in any engineering plus MBA or related fields or economics or Development studies or management

At least 8 years of working experience preferably in project management, project senior officer projects in private research companies or in related organizations and at least 4 years as project management or senior project officer.

 

Required skills and competencies

 

  • Excellent knowledge of standard project document preparation for local and international organizations,
  • Solid knowledge in business project management,
  • Knowledge in project consulting,
  • Skill in Microsoft (word, excel), knowledge in project related software like SPSS,
  • Proven analytical knowledge in any project and
  • A team player to coach and mentor collogues to perform and deliver professionally in time.
